A Smile

Who could not smile when a baby looks at you and smiles
or when you see a baby's chubby hands or darling, kissable bare feet.

Baby Tytus

Speaking of babies, Shannon's best friend Larissa also just had her first child and I was honored to take some pictures of him the other day, so it looks as though we'll stay with the baby theme a while longer. It was fun to incorporate some boy themed props that Larissa brought along.

So I introduce you to Larissa and Tytus....

Rilla @ 4mo.

One Good thing about Shannon wanting me to take pictures of Rilla on each one month birthday is that it insures  a very good, or at least Large, collection of pictures of her first year. The only bad thing is I can't stop once I get started, never taking just a few. No! I can't seem to stop until my camera card is full, 250 pictures later. Shannon says I should just get another card but then where would it end! And Rilla is getting easier and more fun to photograph all the time. So you're stuck with post after post of cute baby. Who could possibly object?

Girl Cousins

When three girls get together there is always heaps of fun. This day was no exception with Ivy, Lola, and Rilla together mostly at Shannon's. (The occasion was an out of town day for Heidi and Holly.)
Ivy got to spend the night with Shannon,Ben and Rilla ( she was ecstatic to be with Rilla sort of babysitting you know) then Lola joined the fun Saturday morning. They spent some time at our house since Shannon thought it would be fun to fix waffles for all of them over here in order to include John, who came home from the hospital Friday. He loved it. Having three little girls scampering about, makes his younger fatherhood days come back to his mind again, if not his frame.
The weather was "Spring" in Oregon; sunny off and on, rainy occasionally, warm enough in the sun but cool in the shade. For me this causes revolving shivers and hot flashes but it was perfect for some pictures of the three girls and they, being children, don't notice fickle weather.

A Family Easter

DSC_0088-e

All day Sunday was gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous!
PicMonkey Collage-2-e

The weather was perfectly balmy and we were able to relax and be outside the whole afternoon. ( Easter is seldom  sunny, much less 75*!} We missed Holly, Casey and the kids who spend every-other Easter with Casey's family.
I took no pictures of the girl's (Holly, Heidi, and Shannon's} combined birthday party the night before and none of the first half of Sunday but finally got the camera out later and managed these few pictures of activities and kids in Easter-best clothes.
