Baby Shower

Ooooh! What could be better than a book themed baby shower. Friends gathered { some from the new mom's book club}, literary quotes a-plenty artistically chalked on blackboards, vintage books stacked and spread about for decor and centerpieces, yummy brunch fare, and thoughtful gifts, to bless the new mom and her baby, soon to be born. {Any day in fact.} 

The Garden in Winter

With the low light of Winter, it would seem my camera and I have been hibernating.
 {I could pretend this snow storm was just last week but instead I'll admit it was at least a month ago.}
I do so love the way our garden is transformed by a covering of snow so 'better late than never'.

The children, of course, were thrilled! Pure magic, first time in their young lives to see such a sight!
