The Rose Garden

~Berries 'N' Cream~

I can't really get the scope of this rose garden in a photo but just to give a view of a portion. This is one square of four, bisected and surrounded by grass. There are other flower borders elsewhere in the garden. The roses are under-planted with Cat-Mint, which blooms with it's purple spikes all summer, but tends to get a little floppy unless it's trimmed.

It does seem we have more garden than is really practical for two people.
Not sure what we're going to do about that~ Hire a few gardeners maybe? Staff, as a friend calls them.
I'll have a few more roses in the next post along with information about where you can find old fashioned roses to purchase.
If you just have to have some of your very own!
