The "Unbirthday"

Celebrating 1/2 birthdays are a great idea for Rilla who's actual birthday falls only 5 days before Christmas. Ben and Shannon have a tiny house but a huge yard (that we share together)and they love to entertain. Anyway a mid summer day was a perfect time for a birthday bash! And a great excuse for decorating using the fabulous paper flowers that Shannon made earlier in the spring for several other events. She loved pulling out all the stops, using everything in her decorating arsenal (well almost everything)that she's already accumulated over the years. Invitations are sent, check! goodies are made, check! clothes are chosen, check! paper flowers and ribbon are hung check! and Rilla gets two good naps before festivities, check! check!

Friends come, goodies are eaten, presents are opened, a good time is had by all!
