Boots

I love having helpers in the garden, especially
when they come in cute boots!

All gardens, even the most native and naturalistic, benefit from the hand of an artful pruner. In this season where the garden is poised for the green flood of springtime, remember that our gardens are co-creations, shared with mother nature. And like any good mother, she expects you to tidy up your room. Now get clipping!

I love these boots.

You live in a beautiful place. The first time I visited the Willamette Valley, I saw greener greens than I had ever seen. I so look forward to seeing your garden in Spring. Do you have bunches of Rhododendrons? We have azaleas, and they all bloomed out at Christmas time - life on the opposite corner of the contiguous USA : )

Beautiful!

I, too, came over from Heidi's lovely, inspirational blog. I can see clearly that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I can see that Mt. Hope's roots started in your garden. I look forward to reading more. I love the glimpse into your garden. And I can tell this will be a fun blog to follow.

Welcome. I came from Heidi's. I met you last year (May) at the Poet's Garden. So sad it closed. I came with my girlfriend and it was my birthday. DO you remember me? After you telling me about Mt Hope Chronicles, I became a regular!

How exciting! I carry no green thumb in my blood... but I DO admire those who do. I am a frequent viewer of Heidi's blog and I am amazed at the beautiful landscapes and surroundings in your area of Oregon. I see her talents extend through the family tree. It is refreshing to see similiar talent from a new perspective. You have beautiful pictures as well as thoughts to share. I look forward to seeing and reading more...

Have a DIVINE day!

Thank you all for your welcoming comments. Yes Susan, I remember you visiting Poet's. That's what I miss the most about the shop- not getting to see and meet great people!
Well I'm off to a great start thanks to Heidi. THANK YOU HEIDI!!!

Cheri, Well, you are getting a following already. Beautiful pictures. Please send those beautiful boots and their contents to help me in my garden. Would be glad for some help. Also, Madame Alfred Carriere needs about 4 ft cut off her top or we will lose the tea house again. One of these days it will get done. Mom
