Pruning Roses

I know this doesn't look very artful, but pruning very large roses is sometimes more about the big picture than delicate art. These large climers have become so overgrown that their supports were tipping or sagging. We are doing some heavy-duty pruning with the help of Ben, Shannon, John and Drake.

The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play.

(Sorry about the deleted comment. That was me...)

I know some people might consider pruning play, but it looks like work to me. :) At least we've had lovely weather. Pruning is even less fun when it is cold and dreary.

Aw, but the company made a difference! Ben says he is so sore! I almost want to laugh! I've been there, so I am trying to be sympathetic.

I will visit your blog...keep it up.
