Sisters

Children of the same family, the same blood, with the same first associations and habits, have some means of enjoyment in their power, which no subsequent connections can supply...

~Jane Austen, Mansfield Park, 1814~

If your sister is in a tearing hurry to go out and cannot catch your eye, she's wearing your best sweater.

~Pam Brown~

You keep your past by having sisters. As you get older, they're the only ones who don't get bored if you talk about your memories.

~Deborah Moggach~

When sisters stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against us?

It's hard to be responsible, adult and sensible all the time. How good it is to have a sister whose heart is as young as your own.

Great pics. I want to be in the spy picture.

I did not get sisters until I married into them. What a joy they are to me.

Happy birthdays, ladies.

Thanks for the fun birthday party, Mom. Great pictures and perfect quotes to go with them. My most favorite is "When sisters stand...".
I'm so thankful for my sisters, that we live close to each other and that they are my best friends. That's a wonderful gift!

Cheri, A wonderful set of pictures, most of which I don't think I have ever seen. The new, recent ones are great of the three girls. We printed out the earlier one of the 3 and will have to try again on these. Love your blog. Mom (and proud grandma!!)

Those are great pictures. Your girls are so blessed to have you as their mother. Really.

Oh and they look as if they could be triplets.

What beautiful girls! I have 3 sisters (no brothers) and am so grateful for our relationships.

I'm loving your blog. No wonder you have such talented girls - they follow in their mother's steps!
