Periwinkle

If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom.

~Audra Foveo~

The color Periwinkle, in the form of Spanish Bluebells, envelopes a mossy bench in my garden every May, invoking memories of Provence.

It's no wonder this sunny hue is employed to brighten the stony facades in France and Spain.
I'd love to be strolling those quaint streets again.

Instead, I'll just have to get out the periwinkle 'Spode' dishes and have myself a cup of tea among the flowers.

Then bring the color indoors

That mossy bench among the flowers is absolutely gorgeous! What beautiful China and flowers! I long to go to Provence and Tuscany!
