Branches About To Blossom

Are we to look at cherry blossoms only in full bloom,
the moon only when it is cloudless? To long for the moon while looking on the rain, to lower the blinds and be unaware of the passing of the spring - these are even more deeply moving. Branches about to blossom or gardens strewn with flowers are worthier of our admiration.

Drenching the pavement, warming the wall, bathing the cat in a slumbering sprawl ...Waking the buds that break from the tree. Shaking out gold, and all for free.

Beautiful pictures of spring events, Cheri. A fun time of year. I picked my first 2 roses today and 3 beginning opening buds of my favorite iris - purple and gold combination, really pretty. I like your quote by Lindley Karstens. Is she any relation to the rest there? Mom

Cheri, Who is being baptized in the collage from Wednesday? The other pictures I recognized. Some really neat, memorable pictures. Mom
